we will lose to Tranmere because we will not turn up that is the way things are but win promotion i hope !.

That wouldn't surprise me marra.
I hope we win every game now and until the end of season.

I think we are capable but we are Sunderland and expect disappointment.
Maybe it's our time again.

Ordered myself one of the special edition programs from the club website. Let’s just break the Wembley hoodoo please, it feels like a massive thing for the club to win there again even if it is a Mickey Mouse trophy.

Adds to the feel good factor.

I’ve always been baffled by the window lickers using cheesey chips and that as an insult.

I ****ing love cheesey chips. Absolute magic. It’s a compliment, frankly.

We English aren’t renowned for our cuisine, but we make the best **** scran.

Plus it’s sold in loads of takeaways in Newcastle including a few around the Bigg Market.

Least imaginative insult in football.

Imagine using such a delicacy as an insult.

We have horse jabbing
Misspelled bed sheets
A stadium that looks like a portakabin
Mike Ashley
6 in a row
9-1

They have a delicious treat.

Whoppas.

Hopefully play the youth team. This unnecessary distraction couldn’t come at a worse time imo. Important we beat Pompey Tuesday now.
Well I’ll be devastated if we lose. But each to their own. I like thinking positively

Not quite least imaginative... they often call us “Mackems” which a large number are!! It’s funny watching their faces at work when they say “Mackem” and I say “thanks”... Confuses the **** out of them!!

They obviously did this interview for money, and should be ashamed of themselves.

I had forgotten how 'unpretty' Oprah Winfrey is, mind . . . . I know that I'm no Burt Reynolds, but she really is hideous :emoticon-0108-speec

Read somewhere that Harry and his plus one didn't recieve any money for this (yes I know) but Oprah was paid 6.5 million dollars

I'm presuming that there isn't 'massive' interest in this 'Mickey Mouse' cup final for some, 'cos we need to concentrate on the league, which is far more important :emoticon-0148-yes:

It is, comparatively speaking, a 'Mickey Mouse Cup' but it's a competition that we, at our current level, have beaten whoever we've been drawn against to reach the final . . . . which means that OUR team will be playing at Wembley. Our opponents are 'only' Tranmere, which emphasises the 'Mickey Mouse' bit, but it's still a cup final, AT WEMBLEY, where the vast majority of players, wherever they are in the football pyramid, will never play :emoticon-0148-yes:

At about this time on Sunday (posted deliberately about now) I wonder how many of those that are not very interested will have slowly but surely become more interested, and the usual nerves will have set in . . . . a last minute trip to the toilet, tell the wife to shut up or go out etc. and open the first of a few cans :emoticon-0112-wonde

It'll be time to be as we always are . . . . SUNDERLAND A.F.C. fans

Come on . . . . <diva>

Agree entirely Gordon, it's a cup final to me and I want us to win this as much as any other trophy.

I understand the argument about concentrating on the league but it's only one extra game and players would much rather play games than train.
