As soon as there is a decent and interesting political debate in here, the gender identity issue gets dragged in again. There are so quite interesting developments in the world of politics and I am surprised that the treatment of Diane Abbott during PMQs has not got more legs.
I am really disappointed by Starmer's behaviour as he is shpwing himself to be a hypocrite. If the poll is correct and the Labour lead is realistic, I wonder how comprehensive it would be if people genuinely supported him as oppose to perceiving him as a more palatable alternative to the Conservatives. It is a shame that Corbyn was replace as the leader as I think he would be more favoured . I would be interested to see if Starmer got elected, how quickly the Left would push to replace him with a more Left-leaning alternative if things went wrong quickly. With a decent majority, I think an alternative candidate from the Left would be able to make some of the chnages that this country desperately needs but is afraid to address.
Corbyn being leader would be the only chance the Conservatives would have of getting voted back in...
