I saw an interesting suggestion, from a political commentator, this morning.
Not sure that it wouldn’t backfire, though, if the gamble failed.
The suggestion was that Labour support the deal, put forward by Buffoon, BUT only if it was then put to a public referendum with Remain and the rescinding of Article 50 as the only other option to leaving with the deal.
If Remain then won the vote, Labour could look their voters, that voted Leave, in the eye and say that they accepted the deal, but democracy defeated it.
If Leave won again, then we’re all fecked.
Either way the decision would come from the public.
