I meant in terms of league position. They were 2nd/3rd for so long.
Really just improvement by others. 10-3-6 in 2014, 6-2-4 in 2015. Beat us at home and their ppg in 2015 is higher than 2014.

Not sure why all of you are writing off Saturday already, we can't score in a brothel at the moment so if you can grab an early goal or keep it 0-0 till the hour mark, I certainly won't be confident in breaking you down.

Just lacking any optimism following our ****e performance against Swansea.

Btw, how's Gaston getting on? Random touches of class? Incosistent? Constantly injured ? I remember how excited I was about signing him![]()
Fair enough, that is a shocker of an away run, part of the reason you are where you are I suppose, though alot of those I would of expected you to lose anyway.
Was the performance that bad against Swansea then? I suppose confidence must be massively low at the moment. I was just saying that Saturdays match is by no means a foregone conclusion, paticuarly where we can't score for **** currently, we're not the same team as pre-December by any stretch of the imagination.
I think you lot should be okay, though it might come down to Burnley game on the last day, like Bruce so all the best after Saturday

It's not just Swansea. We've just been so **** all season. You can take comfort in our performance at home to Chelsea but we lost. We'll probably battle well against Liverpool and Man U too but we'll still lose. Away at Southampton, Palace, etc. What's to suggest those games will be any different to Stoke, West Brom, West Ham, etc were?
Not sure we'll been **** ALL season, we've been inconsistent, played well in some half's played poorly in others, have rarely put two good half's of football together. Errors and late goals been killing us and injuries to key players haven't helped. Still think we'll stay up... just.
If you're in bad form, it sounds like it'll be a riveting match.
We thought the team would've been on a high after the way we performed against Chelsea, but we came out poorly & made a mountain for ourselves by conceding twice in the first half. Been typical for us this season- really indifferent performances.
Just hope we don't need to go 2-0 down to kick into gear.
I know the likes of Pelle & long etc aren't scoring but they'll be a handful. And if City aren't up for it from the off it could be a long afternoon.
Ramirez has been indifferent (like our season). You sum him up well. You want him back?
I'd keep Gaston, he seems to be adapting more and more. I reckon Southampton will want as much back as they paid for him, which given his rather shaky start, is asking a bit much. If we can loan him again next season I wouldn't be against seeing him in black and amber again.
