Thing is even if we get Maynard (a big if if the bid is only £2 million) we'll still need another striker. I would be interested to know why we've given up on him because he's on a free. Hopefully Sven's got someone else in mind...
The released players list doesn't look too appealing to me on the whole. Woodgate if he was fit would be good. Reo-Coker is ****. Hahnemman I don't rate either. Bowyer's a decent player but a complete arsehole. Players like McFadden and Vieira used to be good (in Vieira's case very good) Premiership players but they've got a lot slower and I don't think they'd ft it. Vieira's been shocking for Man City, wouldn't want him in the slightest. Some of them like Larsson might be snapped up by Prem teams. Zoltan Gera's a good player and people have been on about Basso in goal. Butm I can't see many players on there being first choice for us. I see Rooney's been released by Wolves And Daniel Lambert's left Wigan... please log in to view this image With that size you can see why he'd make a good 'gaol keeper'. I'll get my coat...
Has there been anything more on the Routledge rumour? Seems Sven is going to play 4-4-2 next season, meaning we are going to need some wingers...
I dont want Viera. He was crap when we played Man City. Richie Wellens bossed both him and Yaya Toure and them 2 are worth about 30M each at their peak
I'll easily say that Dyer is as good as Gradel, but unfortunatly we won't see Dyers full potential until he does move on, a-la Gradel
Dyer's 28, he should have had his prime. Gradel is still young and clearly had potential but if I remeber correctly he was going through a difficult time in his personal life when he was with us. He was frustrating but obviously had talent. Dyer is, and always will be, just quick. He still can't use his right foot and scuffs it a lot. There are quick wingers out there (Routledge and Kebe for example) who are better footballers than Lloyd. Don't get me wrong I always liked him, he can make things happen and gives his all. I'm sure Sven's got a replacement lined up though. I wouldn't worry, Gradel is Gradel, Dyer is Dyer
Gradel will only get better and now Dyer is in his prime. In next few years he will lose some of his pace
Cannot believe some of you are dissing Dyer On 23 September 2010, Dyer committed his long term future to Leicester by signing a new 4 year deal, keeping him at the club until June 2014. We will see the best of him.
