... the problem is as we all know, the papers have to make something up to sell papers.. nothing going to be done for a couple of weeks I suspect, I am getting my hopes up for this young mexican, almost guarantee him a regular game unlike most prem clubs... but there I go, falling into the trap... will have to wait and see, but I trust Sven, if he is staying with us of course, to get good quality players in...

Sone Aluko is from Aberdeen and is in todays papers(Tuesday)

 

You've no chance of getting Maynard!!!!! it will either be the prem with reports of everton necastle and qpr all sniffing his goalden poaching boots or the lad will see out his contract score 30+ goals and drive us into the promised land

 

I dont think Sven wants Maynard, He would cost too much for 1 player and i think i would overall prefer the Yak. Maynard is very good but has a history of injuries

 

Heard we've been linked with Ched Evans from Sheffield Utd too - not sure he was overly impressive there

 

The nationals came up with the Ched Evans rumour and the locals said that we arent intrested

 

We should prob put a "put to bed" section for unsucessful offers/ confirmations that it wont happen.

 

I have put a * next to the players that we are 100% sure wont sign for us. With Michael Owen signing a new contract a Man U he wont be signing for us

 

We're linked with both Aluko and Craig Bryson of Kilmarnock in Scotland - still a little bit perturbed by links such as this since the Levein days. That said Aluko ripped Bayern a new one in Europe a few seasons back so he is capable. I also thought Big Sol was utter guff in the SPL and he's been a revelation.

 

Does anyone know what happened to Paul Bignot. He was a right-back who arrived for a trial with us from a non-league side (Newport I think) and by all accounts did very well and it was reported a deal was immenent but since then, no news.

thats an ideal line up and ideally Tunchev is 100% and invincible this season oh and westwood is spiderman!

When he left us for wolves.. and didnt get the work permit.. would we of had to of returned the money they paid for him.. or was it just there loss haha?
