According to todays mercury Shay Given is unlikely but still is possable

 

Yeah I think we should stop talking about Shay, the only way we we're going to get him was when he was available for loan.

He will be at Celtic for sure.

I really am hoping we sign Westwood though, he is quality.

 

Never mind Given and Westwood, we're leading the chase for the great Carl Ikeme

 

Westwood - Good keeper but annoying as ****. That crouch down towel over his head thing he does before every game does my tree in. Not sure i could cope seeing it week in week out.

 

This "Heskey coming home" rumour seems to be growing arms and legs, but seems to have split the fans. I personally would love to see him back. He'll always be a cracking player.

 

If we don't get the Yak, i'd take Heskey to partner with Vassell/Waghorn/Schlupp, he won't score many, but will give quite a few assists to those players and Andy King.

 

Kamara´s been released by Fulham.

 

..well let's get him in the bag.. said he wanted to come back, seems a bargain if we can snare him.. and if Emile want's to return home that's fine by me, he gives 100%, assists and goals, he'd be brilliant in this league...

 

I'd take Kamara. I'm still hopeful of a decent bid for Maynard. If we don't get those 2 or the Yak I'm afraid Heskey will not be able to fill their boots in goalscoring terms.

I know he's an annoying little bucktooth turd but I'd take Earnshaw definitely. Natural goalscorer at this level.

On a different note have we had any serious links with a holding midfielder (I'm thinking more than one paper/site)?

Plus wingers? or is Sven planning to play Vassell on the wing all season again? I know Jimmy Kebe's a name that's been thrown around, I'm not entirely convined by him though. Very quick and tricky but seems a bit erratic with his final ball. it annoys me a little bit that Swansea could get players of the quality of Sinclar and Dyer and we can't. They are both miles better than Kebe.

Linked with Routledge in the mail. Surprised that on FoxesTalk there's differing opinions on him, he seems quality in this league from what I've seen.

Also Hull might get Danns. If he does go there I'm assuming it's because we're not interested.

 

We are being linked to a hell of alot of players & that will continue all summer long. There will be alot of our 'deadwood' leaving, the only problem is we will, in my opinion, sign about 10 new players for 2011/12 & these players will have to gel very quickly. If we have a slow start then it´s going to be a battle & a half to get promoted with the npower being so strong this season, I just hope we get the quality in we need & SGE becomes a Leicester god along the way.

I really hope that we sign someone soon I think that I am gonna burst with anticipation. We seem to be linked with everyone at the moment but nothing actually coming our way.

I like Heskey but he's not a goal scorer and that is what we need. A season ago I would have said heskey with Waggy but Waggy has been pants this last season.
