Delap shows stomach for Ipswich’s fight
Towards the end of the first half against Manchester United, Ipswich’s Liam Delap opted for the unnecessary. With the ball travelling out for a throw, the forward charged into Noussair Mazraoui, prompting a square up between the two. Delap was fortunate to avoid a yellow but his need for a scrap is what makes him a player. He hassled United when dropping deep, using his flicks and dinks to muster space and drive into the box. His evening was ruined, though, by André Onana, who saved twice from close range – the first a stunner with an outstretched right arm – denying Delap from improving an already impressive goalscoring record in the Premier League. The 21-year-old has acquired seven yellows this season for his club and England Under-21s. He plays on the edge but hasn’t tripped up just yet.
Cant be long before he gets an England call up
Shows how much we missed him when he got injured last season and how much we could do with somone like that now.

I said it about a year ago; he'll become the long term replacement for Harry Kane.

See Liam Delap was Skys MOM yesteday for Ipswich against Wolves. Its beginning to look like we missed him more than we knew when he was out last season, He has put in a number of good performances in the Premier League this season.
Greaves appears to be out injured again?

A stranger in a sauna in Turkey once asked me if I knew Scott Wiseman, purely because I'd said I was from Hull. I was like well no but he played for City so I think I know who you mean. The guy was a lower league player called Nicky Adams who'd played with Wiseman somewhere. I looked him up after and he seemed to be doing alright in Leagues 1 and 2. Seemed nice enough but it was so strange he asked that and he was so lucky in a way that it didn't fall totally flat because I happened to be a City geek.

KLP signed a new contract at Brentford this week, scored today and had their fans chanting his name. Think he's playing left back at the moment due to injuries but seems to be impressing. There was a point where he wasn't playing and people were saying he shouldn't have gone there. That club is so good with their recruitment though, not just the signings they make but the way they persist with them and make them work.
