Josh Bowler who we had on a 1 year lone deal from Everton in 2019? is now a 'Forest Flop' according to Baz Cooper, saying so in the headline on Hull Live about City supposedly showing an interest in him. Although Bowler has never actually appeared for Forest having being loaned out to a club in Greece, then Cardiff, then back to Blackpool were he was an outstanding success first time around. Nice to have an impartial input on our potential signings from our resident journalist.
He got loaned out 3 times without making an appearance for Forest and he's 25, not a youngster who needs a bit of experience. However, not a flop at Forest, oh no, very canny purchase by them.
He had bags of talent when he played for Blackpool, you don't lose that overnight. How can he be labeled a 'Forest Flop' when he was never given a chance? Perhaps Forest should have played him to find out? Maybe he didn't fit in there? But thanks for the insight Baz, I still say the headline was OTT.
he did, and as the only goal of the game it was the winner. bowen scored west ham's only goal and winner against bournemouth.
Delap scored against Fulham in there 1-1 draw and was voted MOTM by Sky in their Match report. Greaves got an 8 and Delap 9.
Delaps goal was glorious Took the ball from just after halfway Ran with the ball at pace And absolutely thundercunted into the far corner
Cracking player, when he first broke into the team he made us so much better. Shame he couldn’t stay fit and couldn’t really run
Ben Hinchliffe was at Beverley Town last season and had a great season, but seems not to be at the club now - anyone know where he went?
Not sure, as far as I know he's available on a free transfer. Over to you Walter. Interesting looking around at local clubs, seems a lot of our youth are getting hoovered up by non-league clubs. Ronnie Kelly signed for Pickering Town in the off season. McAuley Snelgrove left Ferriby and signed for Bev Town. Fraser Papprill and Ellis Barkworth both play for Barton Town. Ben Voase signed for Brid having come back from America. Bridlington also have an ex Polish international in goal for them (Seb Malkowski)
Seb Malkowski gone back to Worksop as their no1 broke a finger, Ben Voase started today in Brids 1-0 F A Vase defeat to Trafford
