My first car was an 83 chevette saloon, in traditional parchment beige lol, was blinding till it was written off when a bloke crashed into the back, loved it great fun to drive , even though when I collected it, it took metro days to find the filler cap lol. Looking through eBay a few weeks ago found a similar model which sold for 2500, was mint

Mine was metallic khaki, with a brown vinyl roof and a beige interior and it was the worlds slowest automatic(they had the cheek to call it a GT).
What a piece of **** that car was, it seized within a week, though I somehow managed to sell it for what I paid for it.

It is fun, takes me back to the 90'sI used to have one of those Billy a Xr2i , had it lowered with a spax kit, back spoiler etc. It was a lot of fun
When you google image Steve Beaton you get a lot of Steve Mcqueen hits. I can see why, both masters of cool in their own right.
