Why would anyone have a hybrid.....

Anyway i have always fancied the Meredes-Benz G class, prefer the 2011 to the 2012.

Personally i would of gone with the black alloys rather than the one's they have gone with

Because we spend on petrol about 40% of what we did previously. We don't pay the congestion charge and the road tax is £10 a year.

Also it's fun driving on electric - we went down a road in silence and a couple of guys were sauntering in the middle of the road and just as we were right behind them one of them looked round and nearly had a heart attack.

Not a dream car as such but I learnt to drive in one of the new Honda Civics, it was an awesome thing to drive even though I was just learning. I also quite like VW golfs, again not a dream car realy but just two decent things to drive.

Vauxhall Chevette 2.3 full rally spec but with modern updates and gadgets. And engine. Ok pretty much a Chevette shell with new stuff. First car was a Chevette, I loved that bad boy.

My first car was an 83 chevette saloon, in traditional parchment beige lol, was blinding till it was written off when a bloke crashed into the back, loved it great fun to drive , even though when I collected it, it took metro days to find the filler cap lol. Looking through eBay a few weeks ago found a similar model which sold for 2500, was mint

Traditional parchment beige you say??

My mate had a Maestro in beige. Don't know how the colour was described in the brochure but I doubt it was what we called it.

Kiddy fiddler beige.

For obvious reasons.

No offence.

My first car was one of these...

Mine was metallic khaki, with a brown vinyl roof and a beige interior and it was the worlds slowest automatic(they had the cheek to call it a GT).

What a piece of **** that car was, it seized within a week, though I somehow managed to sell it for what I paid for it.

Brown roof and beige interior.

On dodgy ground there pal.

Very dodgy ground.

I used to have one of those Billy a Xr2i , had it lowered with a spax kit, back spoiler etc. It was a lot of fun

When you google image Steve Beaton you get a lot of Steve Mcqueen hits. I can see why, both masters of cool in their own right.

Thought I'd post this, it's cool as ****. 1956 Jaguar xkss-1, apparently

There's only 16 of those in the world and if one comes up for sale, it's likely to set you back a cool £2m.

It was a limited edition road-going version of the Jaguar D-Type racing car and if you fancy one of them, it will cost you anywhere between £5-8m.

Another mildly interesting story for petrol heads.......In 1957, Toyota got together with Yamaha to build the first Japanese supercar, the result was this...

You don't have to know much about cars to know that the Toyata 2000 GT is a complete knock-off of an E-Type.

Despite the fact that they just copied another car, this thing will now actually cost you more than the original, you'll be lucky to find one for less than £250k.
