I wanted my family to live in a small village, Hull isn't one, what don't you understand about that?

In addition, my kids went to school in Pocklington and I didn't fancy adding sixty miles a day to dropping them off there. All my family and friends live around here, along with my kids friends, other than many of their school friends who lived in York. There's also the rather fundamental issue of there not being any properties like mine in Hull, if you want a large detached property with land in Hull, you're a bit ****ed, as there aren't any.

Your analogy is ****, but to run with it, I'm already with Woman A and she wants to live in Cave.

Where I currently live has absolutely no bearing on my love for my home city and you're definitely being an arsecunt.

So you prefer to live somewhere that isn't Hull. Done and dusted.

I think you are on a loser with this one. I live 250 miles from Hull and I left at 15. I read the HDM more than I read my local paper, I spend hours each week working on projects in Hull. I follow the Lord Line and Bond Street developments with keen interest. I do not mind OLM posting about Hull and I do not think I am alone. But to have a go about him not living in Hull smacks a bit of envy.

Envy about what?!

13 miles, 13000 miles - it's all the same. You love it that much and are so pro Hull yet you'd rather live somewhere else.
At risk of encouraging you, give it a rest son.

Hes stopped replying. You said stop replying if you're done. Now you're just replying again. To try for another bite.

About where he lives.

Grow the **** up.

He was Ghurkin and became my wife's favourite poster when she took over from me on Hull CityMad. She suspected he was both B. Marwood and another regular poster on here. John Firth once accused her of being a Ghurkin alias which was quite comical at the time.

Had a couple of major spats with him before I left there but generally enjoyed his posts. Posters seemingly either loved or hated him.

Bumchinnedcrab reminds me of Ghurkin.

Ghurkin I remember once got up in the middle of the night and posted hundreds of times in order to guarantee he was the poster who posted the one millionth post. I think he had some sort of problem.

He spat his dummy when the site was redesigned and he could no longer hide his post count.

It makes a lot of difference actually. The Earth is only 24902 miles in diameter so logic has it that he could not have a house that far away.

The diameter of the earth is about 7918 miles.

It's the earth's circumference which is 24902 miles give or take a bit.

So it is the case that you can't get 13000 miles away from any single point on the surface.

The earth's not a true sphere and the terrain does include mountains and suchlike but none are high enough to affect this overall calculation.

However these are theoretical straight flying distances, presuming free travel across international air space and not adjusted for weather systems. If free travel is denied or adverse conditions dictate then you might be able to find two points which cannot be flown between directly in under 13000 miles.

And if you were to try to go by road or sea...

Even if it was possible, it's unlikely I'd want to move there.
