I wanted my family to live in a small village, Hull isn't one, what don't you understand about that? In addition, my kids went to school in Pocklington and I didn't fancy adding sixty miles a day to dropping them off there. All my family and friends live around here, along with my kids friends, other than many of their school friends who lived in York. There's also the rather fundamental issue of there not being any properties like mine in Hull, if you want a large detached property with land in Hull, you're a bit ****ed, as there aren't any. Your analogy is ****, but to run with it, I'm already with Woman A and she wants to live in Cave. Where I currently live has absolutely no bearing on my love for my home city and you're definitely being an arsecunt.
It's not where you live, it's where you say you're from. When I meet people I say I'm from Hull even though I live in East Riding.
I think you are on a loser with this one. I live 250 miles from Hull and I left at 15. I read the HDM more than I read my local paper, I spend hours each week working on projects in Hull. I follow the Lord Line and Bond Street developments with keen interest. I do not mind OLM posting about Hull and I do not think I am alone. But to have a go about him not living in Hull smacks a bit of envy.
Lived in Hull for 50 years, never had any wheels or anything stolen from any of my vehicles, neither have any of my family for that matter. Moved to the East Riding, van robbed twice, garage burgled, stuff pinched out of the garden.......... For the record, just sold a large detached house in Hull with an acre of land, sold inside a fortnight to a cash buyer. We had a multi millionaire living a few doors down, another one a couple of doors from him and two more across the road and they are only one's I knew personally. Point being, Hull isn't a ****hole and these people could have lived anywhere but choose to live in Hull Someone's not looking seriously enough.
Nobody is saying Hull's a ****-hole, other than a crap joke from someone who lives in Australia. Any town/city/county has good areas and bad areas, the amount of money people have got is completely irrelevant if the property you want to live in doesn't exist.
He was Ghurkin and became my wife's favourite poster when she took over from me on Hull CityMad. She suspected he was both B. Marwood and another regular poster on here. John Firth once accused her of being a Ghurkin alias which was quite comical at the time. Had a couple of major spats with him before I left there but generally enjoyed his posts. Posters seemingly either loved or hated him.
Ghurkin I remember once got up in the middle of the night and posted hundreds of times in order to guarantee he was the poster who posted the one millionth post. I think he had some sort of problem.
