However, Burnley away is another issue. Based on last season's Burnley away game I don't think it is one that either Diame or Hernandez should start.
Burnley will want to hit us hard from the off. So park the bus and see how the first hour goes. imo.

Doubt many will. I know it is crazy but Diame and Hernandez were awful @ Burnley last season. Steve Harper told Burnsy a while ago that both players just don't fancy Burnley away on a cold winters afternoon.
However the closer the game looms on the horizon the more I will change my mind. But after last season.......
He may drop Diame and go with an extra in midfield but dropping Abels a no no !!

Burnley away last season was a catastrope as Bruce stuck with a defensive team he put together to soak up pressure at the emirates and managed to escape with a 2-2 draw. We went to Burnley with a team made to sit back and defend at all costs and got punished by not being able to control any of the play. Burnley didn't come at us like Arsenal did, as anyone with half an ounce of common sense would have expected, meaning our attacking force of Hernandez didn't have any gaps to get in to.
From memory it took til about 90 minutes before Bruce tried changing it.
Besides, what kind of brain dead spastic bird dropping would think a fixture played a year and a quarter earlier will have any ****ing relevance whatsoever to the performances of the players who are picked to play?

Diame's knee was already affecting his game by the time we played Burnley.
We played poorly so I'm sure those players that were part of that team will want to put it right this time around.

That was the strategy last season against relegation rivals at the end, and it didn't work out. But I wouldn't be surprised if he followed it again.
That has to be the mantra first off. However, yes it is always better if you can win those games. But FFS
don't lose them.

You don't half post some drivel, what happened last season, with a different team in a different league, will have absolutely no bearing on this seasons game. I don't expect you to understand plain logic or football tactics. Nor do I expect Hernandez to not start the game especially as things stand at the moment. However, last season @ Burnley was beyond dire and Diame and Hernandez were part of it. The words of Steve Harper confirm it. Burnley in November is bad enough but on a February afternoon ? Nobody knows what will happen but memories of the place remain.
As for the Pie ? yes and I knew I'd get a rise.
