Perfect sponsor here....... though not sure they would have the financial clout that Levy is looking for. http://www.whitehart.co.uk/
Could we just get that pub on Tottenham Court Road to sponsor the stadium? That way it would literally be named "The Tottenham Stadium"
Or that famous sports shop on Piccadilly Circus - The Lilywhites Stadium Or perhaps not, they're owned by Sports Direct
A team with white shirts would be more appealing to the likes of Apple and Google, as white is a primary colour they use in their branding.
Probably, but you could switch from Football to NFL with a swipe of the thumb and the grass would be white with grey lines of course.
I like the idea of the centre circle serving as a 'home' button that we can use to reset the game whenever we don't like a refereeing decision. Moss would soon learn.

IMHO poncey facades are not the issue. On both sides of the platforms you need a lot more space and stairs to get the additional volume of spectators in and out. On the Love Lane side you obviously have the space to do this. On the northbound platform this is some space down the side but how much I don't know (I am at WHL station at the weekend) .
It's bad enough when 35k are streaming out, having 60k people will mean they need to do something drastic.
Here is the thing. If Seven Sisters is the conduit point then WHL station is moot. Because how are they going to get the additional passengers to/from the tube to/on the overground platforms unless Seven Sisters station itself also has major upgrades. Perhaps the club have done travelling demographics on the current ST + mythical waiting list, and know that the additional volume is coming from north/east of Seven Sisters.
I go to Seven Sisters only because WHL station is so crowded. If access to that is improved, then the load might not be so bad on Seven Sisters.
I think the capacity of WHL was 57,000 when I went in the late sixties and WHL station coped reasonably well. There may be more appropriate safety limits these days of course, the platforms and trains were very crowded.
Surely it makes sense to walk to Seven Sisters if you are going to use the Victoria Line and use WHL station if you are going further south?
Full application here: http://www.planningservices.haringey.gov.uk/portal/servlets/ApplicationSearchServlet?PKID=292213 In the DAS documents the scheme claims to address the following: • creating a new landmark station entrance on Love Lane; • increasing the capacity of the station concourse with better circulation space for passengers; • improving station facilities, including the introduction of a gateline to reduce ticketless travel; • providing step-free access from the new ticket hall to each platform via two new lifts; • providing new platform canopies in line with the new station building; • creating a new station entrance on Penshurst Road, providing direct access between Love Lane and Penshurst Road via an unpaid link; • improving the public realm on Love Lane to create a high quality station forecourt, providing an enhanced pedestrian environment and access to the station, including increased cycle parking provision.
The coping was probably due to there being a much larger proportion of local support (not so much far-travelling support as now) and the old trains having a lot more seats per carriage than now. Without knowing the potential numbers coming from where, you cannot say which of WHL / Seven Sisters / Tottenham Hale will be the bottleneck. Ideally you would prefer northbound tube travellers to do the Tottenham Hale + Northumberland Park route, but you have a lot who want to go to pubs on the High Road before games.
