Levy has probably got rubble clearing as part of the "visitor experience" . And a tenner to take a piece of rubble home.
Looking at these photos your club are doing more or less the same as my beloved Athletic Bilbao regarding new stadium, building the new one into the older one!
Received a call from Spurs today gauging my interest in the 'Premium Seats' which they're currently considering offering in the new stadium. Priced at £2500 and upwards it sounds like these are essentially prime position season tickets for those with money, who want to bypass the season ticket waiting list. As with season tickets they can be renenewed year on year with the option to secure permanently when you get allocated a season ticket. I wasn't really paying attention at the time but sounds a bit rummy to me...
They are probably a bit like Wimbledon debentures or the Club Wembley arrangements. Having some of these definitely discriminates in favour of the wealthy but on the other hand it makes funding the stadium much more manageable. If you can sell the right to buy the best tickets over 10 years for say £5k to 5,000 people then that is £25m you don't have to borrow. You can do a similar thing with executive boxes. I think a large proportion of Wembley was funded that way.
Leicester fan in peace and all of the other crap people say on here to show that they are not stirring **** - I'm just really curious as we are mulling about improving our ground and one of the ideas is similar to your in that we buy all of the surrounding land and rebuild from scratch on the old one like you. Will this new stadium be sponsored? Always liked that you never did with White Hart Lane that but it might be the case anymore like with us and our stadium where we needed to sell the naming rights beforehand to pay for it. I know you will be at Wembley for European games but have you agreed to playing League games there? Personally I am hoping you do - my cousin is a Spurs fan but hasn't been able to get tickets for us both and I'd love to come down one day as disregarding last season, there has never really been any problem between us.
Champions League (so 6 games ) at Wembley this year, all games, probably, at Wembley next year. Not sure if that is fully signed off yet.
Will the new stadium be sponsored? I'm not sure if it's been officially announced, but it will be. The current rumour is that it's a combined kit and ground deal with Nike, as they're already taking over from Under Armour. The club have agreed that all of our home games will be at Wembley next season. There's also supposed to be a clause that allows us to extend it into the following campaign, if the rebuild overruns.
Just did the obvious thing an googled it - apparently you will be also be hosting NFL games as well https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northumberland_Development_Project
Rumours are that the proposed London NFL team will have your ground as it's home as well - this would make it more likely if it is true. Will you own the ground or will you be tenants on a long lease?
I'd put money on it being sponsored. I'm just crossing my fingers its not something like Durex or someone with a big red logo
That wouldn't work with the American audience for the NFL matches. I'm fearful it could be... please log in to view this image
