Yeah, you’re right, can’t remember his name either but he made Nigel Pearson come across like a pussycat.
Liverpool did it in the early 90’s too with Evans and Houllier but it wasn’t particularly successful and didn’t last long. I suspect that was probably down to egos and I’d like to think that wouldn’t be the case with Rosie & Dawson.
I sat behind Evan's and Sammy Lee on a flight from Manchester to Copenhagen once, and listening to Evan's I didn't come away with a particularly favourable impression of him, loud mouthed and self-opinionated. Houllier always came across as a humble sort of guy, so I could see why that didn't go well.
