Can't believe how divisive Karanka is proving amongst our fans.

He ticks all the boxes for me.

He proved he had the balls to call the players out at Boro and won the power battle and got them promoted.

If he's willing to come we should snap his hand off.

Dont want Karanka, I've said before on here if you thought O'Neil and Moyes were ****ing boring to watch then god help the fans if he gets the job.
His only saving grace might be that we do have some threat up front which he didn't have at Boro, but still think he'd be a big mistake.

Is anyone thinking it might be a short term appointment to just try to keep us up with a view to giving it to a young coach like a Heckingbottom or Hurst in the summer

At this point sexy football is as far away from what' required as can be. We need someone who can organise a defence, has a style and tactical outlook that wins games. Karanka got Boro promoted after languishing for years before he arrived

He did an ok job at a well run club with a very supportive chairman. You could have parachuted any number of managers in and they would have achieved similar results.
We need someone who can really drag results out of a poor squad. Karanka is completely the opposite of what we require.

In reference to Kranks though, doesn't mean nowt the odds atm imo for a start 7/4 is pretty big odds, certainly not the odds of a dead cert, plus watch them change as each of the applicants goes for interview.

Still no clear idea of who it could be.
