They’ve never been a bigger club than us, they just have Bobby Moore and London.

Sunderland and Newcastle are far bigger clubs. Moyes will keep them up, same as Bilic would have and he’ll get a free reputation boost for **** all.

They’ve a quality squad they were never going down.

Great post. I agree with every word.

David Moyes is the new West Ham manager.

Our thoughts and prayers are with West Ham fans at this difficult time.
Well, at least he can genuinely say to the WHU fans that they are in a relegation battle........., such foresight....such a fekin idjiot. I imagine that many WHU fans will be banging their heads against brick walls as the try to make sense of it!:headbang:....<laugh>

They must be pissed off like, they probably spent last season laughing at how crap we were under him. Now here they are in much the same position.

Sort of agree tbh but the one thing we need to sort out is our shambolic defence and when he got the smoggies promoted they had the best defence in the league...
He had better players at his disposal, though. Our defence needs a revamp, desperate for a centre half to partner Wilson. Karanka doesn't seem the sort of bloke with his stroppy temper, to sort out the mess of our team.

I couldn't bare to watch our football under him, it'l be 10x more boring than watching us under Poyet.

One name I've mentioned in the past that hasn't come up.

Michael Laudrup. Now that would be a statement of intent.

We might be a hard sell but he has been managing I'm Qatar the past 3 year

I've heard it all now. Bottom of the championship and you'd turn your nose up at Michael Laudrup? Eh!!!

Who exactly would you want?

Someone proven in England over more than a year or two who knows how to organise a defence.

This is an extremely important appointment and we need to get it right. I know Laudrup is a big name (as a player) but his managerial style isn't what we need. Don't see any evidence that he'd be able to plug the gaps in defence.

He has none of the attributes that we require.

It's my thread, you only have to look at the very first post.

Laudrup came in and rode on the back of what Brendan Rodgers had created. His 2nd season he got sacked when it was looking like he was taking them down. Why hasn't he had a decent job since?

Laudrup would be a good shout for a stable Premier League club with a budget, and while it sounds nice in principle I’m not sure that he’s the type to drag a squad lacking on quality away from the bottom of a poor league.

It’s not the worst shout mate, but probably not good timing wise.
