He was shot down mate, he glued the Sunderland fans together, he gave us the BIG factor agin, he walked and talked what we wanted and it beggars belief to me why people shoot the man down. He was Mr SAFC for me when he was here and made me proud and loud..<ok>

Whether it be big names or big money people are easily seduced. People just saw billionaire owner so for ages Short could do no wrong. Igot a proper rough time on BBC606 for that thread I did, wish I could see it again.

The thing is no one knows who would be best, we are a nightmare at the moment. I experienced this as a season ticket holder in 05/06, we were truly ****ed. Roy Keane came in, did the best transfer business ever and took us from zero to hero's. As a Sunderland fan, nothing and I mean nothing has given us as fans what that man achieved. He had us safe in season 1 with like, 6 games to go and yet he gets pasted for wasting money. I will say this once, Roy Keane fell in love with Sunderland, he didn't see Quinn his one arch enemy selling out to a ****ing dud. He has my respect always, he gave us the best season ever since the Reid days and consolidated on that by keeping us in the Premiership with ease..

I remember some of the arguments I had with you and @Brian Storm on here about Short! Backed him to the hilt "It's his money etc. etc."

Now feel "Open mouth insert foot!"
 
I've heard McCoist has been interviewed in Manchester and somebody on behalf of him has made tentative enquiries on local properties with a high end estate agent.
 
Prixon probably up to his 1+1=3 with a twist of sensationalism as he comes out with the same story every other media outlet has hours ago with his own special brand of bullshit added to make himself look 'ITK' with all things Sunderland.
