It's also understood Selles, who is under contract until the summer of 2026, would be open to talking to the Tigers over the big job at the MKM Stadium - HDM today
Doesn't sound like it'd get done this week

Yeah but he’s got a bald head.
Disagree, he has already shown he can handle extremely bad circumstances and come out the other side flying.Selles is not the right appointment and could go horrendously wrong sick of all these football hipsters thinking it’s a class idea
Same was probably said about Phil Parkinson.Disagree, he has already shown he can handle extremely bad circumstances and come out the other side flying.
It’s a bit quiet considering we are on the verge of appointing a new manager

Did Phil Parkinson oversee a comfortable avoidance of relegation with a team in administration and then have them in the playoffs a season later?Same was probably said about Phil Parkinson.
Biggest problem he'll have though is winning the fans over.
I want us to find the next Rosenior. Someone to steer us clear of danger but then also to get us competing at the right end of the table in the longer term, just as he did. As I said last night, I don't think Alex Neil is that man. Ruben Selles sounds like he might be though, so I would like that appointment.
Biggest problem he'll have though is winning the fans over. Because he's foreign, seems to favour modern footballing principles and isn't proven at this level, it won't take many poor home games before people start complaining that it's all tippy-tappy, we need to gerrit forward, etc.
