Beale made zero sense, he was still brung in. Nothing at all would surprise me with the club currently.
Beale made a lot more sense than this guy. Championship experience, Rangers experience. EPL experience as an assistant. Reputation as a great player developer
Don’t get me wrong, not for one second suggesting Beale made sense as he obviously didn’t. But this guy is a whole level below in terms of sense

FWIW I’d buy the “nothing surprises me with this club” logic if we hadn’t very openly been trying to bring Will Still in. The club are very evidently aiming higher.

While I was on there, this Will Still quote popped up.
It made me wonder what Lens fans will make of it ...

So the PL is his ultimate dream but he'll go to Lens for a bit ... doesn't sound too inspiring.

Do you know what our process is at the minute, who we've had talks with, who is on our wanted list, how far down the line we are with those talks, or are you just going off Internet rumours.
Smug has stated he's happy to see the process out and wait and see who we actually appoint before making judgement which is all we can really do.
However so many are judging and commenting on Internet rumours as if they are fact. Although some are only picking up on the negative rumours

So can someone please confirm that what I think is right. Still is going to Lens to replace someone who is going to Nice, that’s replacing Farioli, who’s going to Ajax. Is this the same fella we were linked with last summer to replace Mogga that started all the upheaval?.It has been announced hasn't it, I thought it was all done and a three year deal agreed ...

Franck Haise is the new coach of OGC Nice for the next three seasons.
A total agreement was reached between all parties this Friday.

"After a few hours of hesitation, negotiations between Nice and Lens have just concluded this Friday, for the arrival of Franck Haise on the Nice bench. The latter will commit to the Gym for the next three seasons and will take over from Francesco Farioli, who left for Ajax Amsterdam."

... my opinion is that Still was our priority and he may become our next manager.
I think they have ballsed it up but it’s going to take a lot more than Nixon saying a random Scottish manager is in the hunt to make me think we are in desperation mode. For all we know there’s 10 other Rene Maric types in a queue.
Put it this way, at 10pm last night nobody had even considered Stephen Robinson might be a candidate. There’s more or less infinite options that we might not have heard about yet.
