I've been busy moving to a new country, so missed out on so many pages of speculation ....but if as seems, Still isn't coming, then how many days/weeks have we pi$$ed about trying to get this guy...( Assuming we have indeed been trying to get him) If not, then why the hell after 100 days are we no clearer on who is going to take over...Total S hit show

He's not. He's a french Captain Fishpaste. I've done some research on him in the last hour or so, admittedly that's not long, but most of his reputation is retweeting stuff already floating round from other sources or from being Leonardos' unofficial mouthpiece at PSG for a few years.

Digging around it seems FootMercato has a poor reputation now, especially in Italy, of regurgitating stuff on twitter or from message boards. A few years ago it was reputable, but has slipped massively but still trades on it's previous reputation.

What is it we're pissing about at? Agreement on money? Backroom staff?
You can't court someone this long and then haggle like **** when he asks for justified stuff.

Last I heard it was staff. I said on here, May 18th I think that it was front bench stuff. Assume it's still that. Shame if that's the case mind as the other day there was wind that that had been sorted. Maybe Lens sniffed an opportunity and have acted swiftly.

Based on nowt but intuition I just can not see it being Heckingbottom.

The club was apparently shocked about the reaction to Beale, it would be another level up if they take 100+ days to get heck in. For that reason I very much doubt it will happen.

I'm sure he's very good at what he does, but there would be no possible way for the club to spin it...'always on our radar', 'first choice' etc. Wouldn't wash. It'll look like an abject failure and I don't think that would be tolerable to the club given the last 9 months.

Far more likely to be someone completely unexpected and unknown. That's if it's not WS, and at this point I genuinely hope it is.
