I disagree tbh. If the club had a set in stone playing style then i'd agree but we wait and let the coach do it which means we can't exactly start transfer business, and if we do i'd be sceptical of how them players fit. Other championship clubs are signing players now. I wanted us to be active in the free agent market and we just aren't, and if we are how do them players fit?

Been in a meeting for a hour, come back to the thread and in the space of a couple of minutes reading it’s went from being still to then being wicky, to Romano saying it’s not wicky to being back to still and now coopers odds are dropping.

Imo won’t be Still too many reports in France saying its pretty much done with Lens

will be rosenior or heckingbottom both would be tragic

Still would be daft not to wait and see if the Lens manager goes to Nice, especially if he has been told he’s the favourite to replace him.

IMO if that happens it would be our own fault for taking so long to get contracts signed if potential candidates see a more attractive position become available.

For me another week i can live with but thats about it

Want the new man in a couple weeks before the players return so everything can be planned in terms of sessions n then potential targets, so nxt week is the latest imo

Mate this Still thing has been the biggest piss take for a while. Courted him for an age. No compo now and we have took so long , it's no the wonder other clubs are on the sniff. Will only have ourselves to blame. Always been the risk.

With Hecky getting a mention I will say that I wouldn't have many complaints about the appointment itself, but the optics of waiting this long to appoint someone who was sacked the day after we sacked Mowbray and has been available ever since would be terrible.

Given the bits I have heard about the Still thing, then honestly, it wouldn't surprise me. It looked like it was finally sorted Monday but again, we have taken so long it's left an opportunity to other clubs to come in.

If it is Lens he goes to, fair play. He has played the game too. But I definitely think it could have been resolved sooner and this wouldn't have been an issue.

Always been the way it seems, look at when we sign someone, that always takes an age, you’ll probably have a better understanding than me as to why but it’s frustrating to put it lightly
