If you assume that the Echo were briefed by the club (along with Romano) to so confidently dismiss the Wicky reports then you'd probably have to think them saying 20 minutes later that nothing is imminent is probably coming from the club too?
Yeah probably but not definitely. Could be just the Echo just banging something out to piggy back on this one bit of info they’ve got. Few extra clicks for them

If the Echo story is correct, which considering they had the same info as Romano at the same time suggests they may actually have this correct, the club still assessing options just isn't good enough at this stage. It's June in 2 days, it is also near the end of the 3rd week of that supposed 3 week timeframe. People can make excuses all they want but this search for a new head coach isn't ok and hasn't been for a while now.
100% agree, it's embarrassing

Norwich got a new HC in quick enough. We seem to make hard work of everything but as long as we get the right person in we will just have to wait and trust them I guess.

Left work at 4 having caught up with thread. Get home via **** traffic through A1 to find us not appointing Still, then Wicky and then not wicky and possibly back to Still.

this ****ing club will be the death of us!!

Even things like 'waiting for the right appointment' isn't a valid excuse in my opinion, if that person doesn't want to come by now they never will.
The only way it could be anything other than really poor management now is if they have who they want and the wait is purely for contractual reasons/issues (from their previous club)

As long as we get the right appointment tho, that is the key - no matter how long it takes

The club might have wanted to wait until the end of the European season (when most leagues finish) as more managers will be available (both in n out of work)

None of us know exactly what happens, the most important thing is appointing the right manager and if that has meant its taken a few extra weeks then so be it

The only way it could in any way be good practice now is if they have who they want and the wait is purely for contractual reasons/issues (from their previous club)
If they do then surely they need to communicate this through journalists. Multiple clubs have sacked their manager/head coach after us and have already appointed good candidates that I would've been happy with here.

Been in a meeting for a hour, come back to the thread and in the space of a couple of minutes reading it’s went from being still to then being wicky, to Romano saying it’s not wicky to being back to still and now coopers odds are dropping.

As frustrating as it is that we don’t have a head coach yet, this thread has been class haha. Who will be linked next

Which managers would you have wanted who have been snapped up?
