If they do then surely they need to communicate this through journalists. Multiple clubs have sacked their manager/head coach after us and have already appointed good candidates that I would've been happy with here.

I made the same point weeks ago but on reflection, maybe they can't.

Hypothetically speaking, if the terms of, say, Still's exit from Reims were that he can't speak to a club until x date, then we appoint him after that date but all our 'trusted media' in the meantime have put out that we've got our man but are waiting on his contract to expire or such like then it could land Still, or whoever it may be in hot water.

Yeah Echo and Romano are both saying the same thing. A number of options under consideration.

Fishpaste saying one of them is Still but isn't the preferred option at the moment. Echo also saying Still is an option. Romano hasn't linked us to Still at all.

It feels like there's some momentum now though. I reckon we might get more credible links to somebody in the next 36 hours. And my gut says its somebody we don't expect.

Of course if indeed the club did shoot down the Wicky rumour to both Romano and the Echo, they may well also be fabricating the "number of options still on the table" narrative, again to put pressure on Still if he's taking time to decide where he wants to go.
