It's great to have the new manager lined up when you sack the old one. Birmingham did just that when they were 5th in October, so far so good.

But the new manager was an absolute disaster so they sacked him as well. They appointed someone unemployed who came cheap but isn't particularly inspiring.

He couldn't do much, and went on the sick, so they gave his assistant the job but he was even worse. They then went for yet another unemployed manager who came cheap.

He's conspired to take them into a relegation spot with an upcoming away game at Huddersfield who went above them today ...

... Birmingham haven't just written off half a season, they might've just surrendered their place in the Championship.

Their owners promised 'no fear' football and the Premier League ...

... KLD has said he'd like 5 years to get us up and sustainable.

I'll take Plan B.

So we should just sack managers with no one lined up ? WTF were you drinking today?

You regularly say you have no interest in other clubs or the decisions they make. Now you do ?

Not sure how one failed board at Birmingham justifies the incompetence at ours mind. Can we not just agree that it's been **** and they made poor calls which derailed our season? It's literally reality. It's ok to say so. It doesn't always have to be ultimate excuse all the time.

I'm not making excuses, it's been poor as I've said.

I'm simply pointing out that sometimes decisions don't always go the way you hope or expect.

Of course I take an interest in other clubs.

They don't. And it's been poor. Given the start we had for the board to make many bad decisions. Rightly getting called out for it.

That said, people who want to rip up bed sheets and protest need to get a grip.

the season is dead, let's be honest we appoint a new gaffer now and and results don't pick up, well be going into the new season with some fans already not liking him,

if the believe the have the right man but have to wait till the summer then it makes perfect sense waiting for him

a new gaffer coming in now is not going to change the outcome of the season

Nah they should have ****ed Beale off and had a proper replacement ready. That's the crux of it all really.

It goes back to sacking Mowbray, I was 100% convinced they had somebody lined up, but what a mess they turned it into
all the eggs went into stills basket and when it couldn't get sorted the offered it to dodds then till end of season, he didn't want it then for that long , and that's where beale come in

what if the man the want, won't be ready until the summer, and the didn't want to make the same mistake as beale ?

Then they should have had better judgement and not appointed Beale in the first place. I mean, they could have learned after the whole Mowbray mess but didn't.

Beale wasn't even that bad an appointment. He was averaging something like 1.27 point per game, only slightly down on Mowbray's 1.35 points per game. Granted, the football wasn't as pretty as last season. If the pathetic campaign against him hadn't have happened, we could have limped to the end of the end of the season in the top half and thought about it again then.
