Sacking Mowbray was the correct decision imo. But they've put themselves massively on the back foot with this like.

It's only the right decision if you find a better man. It is a huge leap of hope and faith to think they have.

At a guess, they've looked and found someone who will make no demands on Speakman, just grateful to be back on the merry go round.

First time I'm properly questioning the hierarchy. Got the exact same sinking feeling I did when Parkinson was brought in.

You interview two highly rated coaches in Swedish football who are both on the up in the game. You supposedly go after Still who is arguably the most exciting coaching prospect in football. You supposedly want progression.

But instead we appoint someone who done well in his first job until he took an interview with Wolves, turned it down then started saying all the right things in the media just to then leave 2 weeks later. He then failed in that job and was sacked and since that sacking Rangers have improved massively. Plus his record in big games is abhorrent.

I thought it was correct to move on from Mowbray but ****ing hell.

I do not get it at all.
££££££s It's always the ££££££s

Three things from me
1 there's reason they picked him and that will be a coaching reason
2 it’s possible that you can do badly one place and well elsewhere - none of us know the personalities and conditions at rangers
3 there are many people we’ve judged badly the previous 3 being examples Dodds, Mowbray, Neil
So let’s not be diva’s and back him until we have a good reason not to

If there’s even a sniff of truth in the line that Still was sidestepped purely cos of compensation, then this is the beginning of a slippery slope for me and the owner.

With the position the club is in, this could make or break the clubs whole future. We going for PL or for Poundland?

I can see some players who may have stayed, and I mean likes of Clarke, wanting away if it’s as poor an appointment as this.

Handful of decent results for QPR and a failure at a big job, but ‘ooh he’s free’.

I hope this is bollocks.

Two jobs as the big dog and he hasn't made it to 12 months in either.

The guys in charge obviously have a much better handle on things than I do but this doesn't feel like a good move at all.

Time will tell.

One thing i will say, maybe don't trawl Scandinavia and the rest of Europe for exciting unknowns if you are going to end up hiring an unexciting known.

Waste of time.

Having watched a lot of Scottish football.
He may be a good development coach. But I thought the plan was to progress our tactics to the next level.
This bloke was absolutely clueless at Rangers and thats putting it mildly.
Clueless tactically and a his press conferences were shockers. Nothing likeable about him at all.

Will back him and hold my hands up if I'm wrong but I'm truely shocked by this
