Even though our fans were underwhelmed when we appointed both Neil and Mowbray, outsiders and fans of their previous clubs praised the appointments. This time I can't find anyone praising the appointment.

More like a laughing stock. I'd have been laughing if Stoke or Swansea appointed him, but no, he ends up here FFS.

People said the same when TM got the job, and he turned out ok. Only time will tell

Speaking for myself, I was a damn site more underwhelmed by Mowbray signing than this appointment..and that didn't turn out to be the worst thing thats happened to this club

Imo this is a shocking appt, really disappointed and anyone who knows me since ive posted ive always backed the club but i really dont like this appt

I liked the appts of neil n TM, thought they were upgrades on what we had but beale is not an upgrade

Cracking coach but shocking man management skills, my mate at work is best mates with a rangers player n he said beale massively struggled on the man management side. Tactically he is very poor and his press conferences are shocking - @Prehab26 mentioned about the corporate speak and thats exactly how he is, he will rile a lot of our fans up

I hope he has learned from the rangers job tho and brings in a quality no2

His training is meant to be brilliant from what ive heard just struggles with motivating the players - rangers dont have a great dressing room so he might just not have been suited to them

Heres hoping theyve nailed another appt and he will def have my backing

He is like LJ on steroids and players will hate him after a month if things are not going well.

And lost every big game they had. One win against Celtic came after the title was decided and Celtic played a B team. Success in Scotland is not based on win percentage it's based on wins in the derby and your trophy count

IF this is true then as I learnt from the appointment of TM its better to wait and see, however when TM was appointed I read lots of positive posts about his playing style, ability with to improve the younger players etc.

I'm not seeing that with Beale

I really cant believe weve sacked Mogga whilst being in playoff contention to bring in Beale ffs.
This club never fails to suprise me.

We were virtually in relegation form, lost at home to Huddersfield and couldn't come close to beating 10 men ...

... another month, like that, and we'd have been out of touch.

Not so bothered about Mowbray leaving for Beale, it’s more who we were linked with and the “young european manager” excitement to what we’ve ended up with.

FWIW Beales record with QPR was better than Mowbrays at Sunderland and every other English club he’s manager whilst his record with Rangers was hugely better than Moggas at Celtic. He’s still only just starting his managerial career too.

I just don't think a sexy European appointment at this point of season was really feasible

Gives him time to prove he is the right man for the job, or he fails miserably and falls flat on his face and we finish mid table or lower.

That's fair, but Rangers spent the most they've spent in decades this summer and sacked him 2 month later and are now playing much better under someone else

I Lived in Glasgow and still spend a lot of time up there. My phone hasn't stopped. All the same crack you mentioned. Tactically inept bad man management but most of all just a really unlikeable character who most of the Rangers players hated. Like you hope I'm wrong but this has potential to go very badly wrong.

Yeah i understood that at the time but now hes been replaced with Beale.
Remember Mogga has had to spend most of his time with us with an injury ravaged squad and if that hadnt been the case we'd arguably be in the Prem now. The players loved him and reports say the dressing room was full of disappointment and hurt when he got sacked.
If that was to sacrifice an exciting managerial appointment id understand abit more, but all weve done is bring in another Lee Johnson.

Beale had no clear playing style at rangers and thats my biggest concern
