Massive risk with 25 games to go.Give it Dodds to end of season.
Sbragia won 2 of his first 3, then 3 of his next 20.

said the same earlier in this thread but time will tellAlways thought this would be the case Frankie marra, think we’re just being used for leverage to get what he wants from Reims

I would revisit that theory 10 games later if we've won 2 of them and lost 8agree with this but my leaning towards it is less to do with results and more to do with the performances and tactics.
from memory Sbragia just kept things as is and more or less lucked into the wins. Dodds has full on earned both.
Yeh to be clear, I’m only leaning to it if he wants it and the club wants him. If he doesn’t want to be the main guy, then absolutely not.I would revisit that theory 10 games later if we've won 2 of them and lost 8
I hear what you are saying, but Sbragia was a well respected coach (as is Dodds) but didn't have the personality to be the top man. There may be a reason why Dodds has worked largely with age group teams and only been on the periphery of the 1st team.
On the flipside, Sbragia took a team that was in a tail spin and could do very little about it. Dodds has a team very much on the up
Absolutely hilarious if they give it to Dodds based on those (terrific) two games. Knee jerk or what? Just wait until we get turned over by a side in the bottom half and everyone bashes the club for not appointing someone else.
Give it Dodds to end of season.
You're assuming he has not always been earmarked as a potential future head coach for the club. We specifically sought him out from Birmingham back in 2021 as one of the leading developmental coaches in the country and considering the direction the club are heading in, where the head coachs primary directive is to develop youth, he fits into the role extremely well.
Your response is reactionary.
Dodds is young enough to wait imo.
If he becomes manager we need a new first team coach which is more disruption.

Exactly, when do caretaker managers ever work out when they're given the full time role? Can't think of any.Massive risk with 25 games to go.

AHH fair dos. Doddsy in!ironically Will Still started as caretaker at Reims, did such a good job they kept him, and now we want him.

If you turned it off after the first sentence then you have little basis for analysis/assessment.I'm seeing loads of desperation on here, I replied to a repeated post of the video which I had turned off after the first sentence. Not for me.
