Did you sign up specifically to repeat precisely the same moans that half a dozen have already posted.

What Belgian connection? Just because a Belgian was their last manager doesn’t mean they’ll go Belgian again. <laugh>

I generally wake up fairly calm then come on here and I start to stress <laugh>

TBH Burnley did themselves no favours last season imo ...

... they basically hung Kompany out to dry with that squad.

I'm not sure ambitious managers will be too keen to go there, perhaps why Kompany is happy to go.

We were about 30m in the red when Short came in thanks for Quinn and Walton. Quinn then carried on spending Shorts money without any return.

The academy wasn't utilised and the club built on sand.

I wonder if Kompany was in charge of recruitment.

For example, the goalkeeper they got in - Trafford - absolute suicidal buy going for a kid who was on loan at League one the season prior for about £15m I believe. Good prospect but nowhere near regular first team football at prem level.

maybe they all learned walloon or picardy or something and think another belgian lad will have made it worth the effort

They signed about 10 players from Belgium last season to be fair do they not have an associated club or was that just all players Kompany wanted from his time there?
