Donald is the biggest waste of space to ever be close to a decision making position at this club. Scumbag of the highest order. Him and his prick of a mate Methven.

Incorrect the fact the club have had 3/4 months to get something sorted and we are still sat here a couple weeks before the players return for pre season with no clear plan gives me the conjecture to allow me to have a pop at the club

The style of play moved massively which is what we saw - That is Beale style of play was at QPR and Rangers we went from pressing high attacking at pace playing a decent amount of forward passes to sit deeper, no pressing until the opposition get to half way and lots of sideways and backwards passing

Have to say, I'm getting to the point where I'm pretty disillusioned with how things are looking.

I was pretty steadfast in my refusal to criticise the club for a poor season without knowing the root causes of our problems. I wanted Beale to get more time than he did. I think I see Speakman for his successes and his failures while some seem to only see the latter. And I really really rate KLD as an owner, long may he continue rebuilding the club.

But the time it is taking to hire a new manager is starting to trouble me. It feels, in the most uninformed way possible, ponderous and indecisive.

If we hit the transfer market in the same manner this summer, I'm going to get pretty nervous.

We really need to get a shift on. We need a good summer.

And we have no idea what is happening regarding manager, for all we know they might have a deal agreed. Just because nothing more ch is being leaked doesn't mean they are just sat on their hands doing nothing. Pre season is more than a couple of weeks away, most clubs pre season starts in july

The reason for that was because we kept getting undone at the back. Happened a number of times under Mowbray and on MB first game V Coventry.

The question was.."how do you know the appointment of Beale was solely a KS decision"?...

good point, this summer has to show some flex in the 'project', last season showed up the flaws and the current regime gained themselves some 'leg room' because of their previous work...that 'leg room' is currently getting cramped.

i certainly do not want any wholesale changes but the right coach/manager and personnel have to be right (not necessarily a top two aim) and improvement needs to be seen, the lads play some good stuff so i just want to see changes that will help them.

But the same issue kept happening + he had experienced players in the squad.

I think this year will stand us in good stead providing we get the right manager + 2 strikers in.

Not really, we have no idea other than speculation who we are talking too or how far away we are from appt a manager.

You are being very naïve if you think the club would not announce they had a deal with someone

If we get to the end of the week in the same position I’d agree but it’s football industry holiday season so there could be delays for all kinds of reasons

Why? They are contracted. Might affect recruitment like but don’t see this being an issue.

I’d agree with you if we don’t end up with our first choice.

But playing devils advocate completely, if we end up with Still next week, or even the next, then I’d actually applaud KLD and Speakman for their patience in getting their man, rather than criticise them for how long it took.

Also doesn’t WS know the Norwich DoF? Maybe it was personal to go down and speak to them and hear what they had to say. No point upsetting your contacts as job security in football is second only to a Tory prime minister. Second guessing and being all insulted that he spoke with someone else doesn’t help anyone. Just come across as a jealous suitor.
