If they are insisting he is the no.2 as part of the pitch to any new candidates for the top job he is a Massive problem. Insane if this is the case but would explain the lengthy delays in an appointment and I certainly would not be surprised at this insanity given the last 5 months decision making/shooting themselves in the foot.
Why would they? Every other Head Coach apart from Beale brought their own assistant. Dodds was 1st team coach beneath the HC and the AHC. People putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 978612

**** me why would you not be surprised. Other than Beale every manager has brought their own no2, Beale didn't because he didn't have one. Everyone has different opinions but you have got to be one of the most negative people that has ever been on here. I wouldn't mind if you didn't keep stating your opinion as fact.
Saying "he's not a good manager, I don't want him" is completely justified. The rest of it, nah, not justified at all.
