I think it’s highly unlikely mind because Speakman said otherwise and may not be involved in this bit but if they are peddling this the owners need a brain transplant and Speakman needs to be ****ed off instantly.
I'm not even sure where this idea has come from. Beale is the only one who didn't have his own No.2 and even he said he might bring someone in eventually. I'm sure its just something someone's made up to criticise Speakman and it's somehow become accepted as a 'fact'.
It's obvious he's an excellent development coach and I'd like us to keep him. Will he accept the step back now though.
I wouldn't trust anyone who would relocate from Como to Sunderland.
