We are currently watching Altered Carbon.
As others have said The Stranger is very good.

I tried with Altered Carbon but couldnt get into it even after 4 or 5 episodes
On season 4 of dexter but its starting to get a bit samey. Watching Forever (2014) and was enjoying the idea but the plots must have been written by 7 yr olds. Was told to watch The Stranger too. Was loving the first series of outlander - what a nasty Jack Randall was!!! then it dipped but got back on track. slowed down a lot last two series - based on books and maybe stringing it out a bit too much? and then this season seems to be waffling with the main plot line being ignored apart from a few minutes here and there.

Just started on series 3 of Ozark - class.

Was disappointed with The Stranger - decent idea in Ep 1 slowly faded from there on in my opinion.

West Wing - watched em all years back, decent in its own way but way too schmaltzy for my taste.

Not sure if The Outsider has been mentioned - very decent, uneasy throughout.

The Sinner - series 3 - not as good as previous series in my opinion, but still worth a watch.

Better Call Saul - series 5? (can't remember) - as good as ever

Think there's a Gomorrah prequel (or maybe some other form of spin off) film too (The Immortal) but not seen yet

Very important thread this, in these times.

I hadn't realised series 3 of The Sinner was out. That's my next watch decided.

I watched the first Altered Carbon a couple of night ago, it just looks like a really **** version of Bade Runner, I'm not sure I'll even bother with episode 2.

I wasn't a fan at first - it took me a couple of episodes, then I really got into it.

The second series isn't as good, but still watchable.

I watched the second series of Sunderland Til I die the other day - you would not believe it is real life. Actually hilarious in parts and demonstrates perfectly how far removed some people behind the scenes are from reality at football clubs.

It's not worth it. I forced myself through the first 5-6 episodes but it really just drags along.
I enjoyed Season 2. I thought it was a little easier going than Season 1.

As a benchmark, I enjoyed Picard too and the internet is having a right panty-wetting session about how disappointing it was.

As a further benchmark, I find The Expanse unwatchable.

That's because it isn't as good as TNG, and it was never going to be, despite what people expected.

It's still not too bad though.
