Thanks mate, i'd like to know more if you wouldn't mind. I was thinking about dumping Netflix anyway but the advert thing tipped it for me.
Alan Bleasdale's 5 part series "Boys from the Blackstuff" - set in Liverpool in the early 80's, is being repeated on BBC Ch4 TV tonight at 9 pm. One of the best series I've ever seen - well worth a watch.
Watched the first 2 episodes today, and I'm gripped now. So will definitely finish it over the next couple of days
Just watched the first episode of the new season of Westworld, it kicks off with a real bang - Thandiwe Newton & Evan Rachel Wood are as gorgeous as ever, which is an added bonus!
i watched first episode but found it too close to home and depressing, but didnt want to watch any more. watched it first time round. giz a job. "the boys" however really entertained me. im a fan of anthony starr especially Banshee.
it got a bit hard to follow was it second series? all that time jumping. but im on it now. looking forward to this new series.
Binged on Sherwood yesterday, brilliant I thought though it probably resonates more if you were around during the early 80's.
re an alternative to netflix and pay services. im surprised no one has mentioned torrents. i used to do usenet but once you had to start paying for something that wasnt always reliable then i moved onto torrents. but i dont do it now because its illegal. honest.
I probably need to retry it. Dropped it early in Season 2 I think. I just couldn't be arsed to think about how the time stuff works.
May as well ask on here i can’t remember my pin for sky when it asks for an over 18 content programme and no it’s not dodgy porn just a film had two goes and ****ed if I can remember What next? Contact sky?
Not 100% sure, but if you go to settings _ system info think last 4 digits on viewing card may be it.
