I’m really enjoying “ the terminal list “ Chris Pratt, moves you along nicely and plenty of action. I’ve just finished episode 5, **** me you would not want to get on the wrong side of Chris’s character, boom ****ing boom so to speak lol. Just 3 episodes left, bummer

Not seen him play a character like that before, he was excellent in it

Not a Netflix or boxset but just watched a film called .. The Phantom Of The Open , Mark Rylance stars in it, it is a true story set in 1976 the story of Maurice Flitcroft and the British Open Golf it's a brilliant film worth a look unbelievable this guy actually did what he did and i am pretty sure it will jog a few of the older posters memories.

Not sure when sporting pranks started but this has got to be up near the top of the greatest one's.

Watched it last week, reasonably close to what happened too. Very enjoyable.

i tried it last night, my wife and the lad have watched seal team and similar stuff but i havent. so all the abrreviations they use are baffling me. im like what did he just say but before you know it theyve mentioned another 2 or 3 and im lost. i know they have to do it for authenticity and i do have subtitles on but its hard going, so i have to ignore the finer details of the plot and just go with it. the missus likes it cos the main guy looks like the bloke out of seal team.

I too hate all that talk but the story and the action is brilliant, heat was one of my favourite films of all time and I think this has a bit of that feel to it. Watched the last episode last night and did not want it to end, for me that’s a sign of a good watch..

from what ive seen so far -3/4 of the first episode, it obviously has a way to go before getting to any god moving over the face of the waters moments.

I really hope they do it justice. Massive fan of Tolkien.

I think I heard they only had naming rights, not the actual material. So be interesting to see what direction they take it in.
read lord of the rings trilogy as a young lad. 11-12? havent watched any of the films.
yet....
