Stick with it. Season 4 is fantastic. The ending to episode 4 in season 4 is some of the best TV I’ve ever seen. It does a huge amount for its depiction of youth mental health.
Agreed. I loved S1 and was concerned that S2 wouldn’t keep up the standard, but found it better in pretty much every respect. S3 I thought was disappointing and came pretty close to jumping the shark. It left me fearing the worst for S4, though not enough to stop me watching it as soon as it came out and I thought it was a real return to form. Now really looking forward to the second half of it.
Yeah my mate mentioned there's an excellent episode ! Is that the episode that has propelled Running up that Hill ? Mind you it's taken me a few years to get onto the second series . I'm looking forward to the second series of Night Sky when it comes .
They send the scenes to Kate Bush so she can okay the inclusion of her song. Imagine receiving the end of episode four and being asked if it's alright to use your song in it.
It’s not quite a TV show yet, but anyone else been to see Netflix setting up down High Street? It’s 1940s rather than its previous Victorian incarnations, for a new series called Bodies, based on a graphic novel. It’s well worth a look if you’re in town today.
I thought the first 2 episodes were decent, or even pretty strong compared to previous seasons. Certainly compared to the ****show that Season 3 was. Not seen any more yet, but not seeing why someone would drop it in the first episode at all.
I usually try to last 3 episodes, but there isn't much that I drop. Mostly as I tend to vet new stuff before I start it. The most recent was Star Trek Discovery in the middle of the 4th season.
Star Trek Strange New Worlds smokes Discovery IMHO. It goes back to the different adventure each episode format of the original Star Trek.
Yeah, its like a breath of fresh air in the Star Trek world, Having said that I'm bucking the trend by not absolutely hating Picard S02 and I find The Orville half-decent so not sure if my opinion is reliable.
Will be interested to see how they do it, but still totally baffled by the u-turn ending with respect to his daughter. Not sure if I mentioned it before but Hellbound (Korean) is watchable, creepy and an unusually unique concept. Twist at the end is intriguing too.
I've just done the full second season and the first in season 3 . I think I'm on Stranger burn out so will leave it for a bit .
