Hi Patty,I think what might stop them doing this are the rules against owning two clubs in the same league system. It may be possible to wind down a club whilst preparing a takeover and relocation of another club. But the expense and sheer logistics required to pull it all off,not to mention the ****storm that it would create, probably means you'd need someone even crazier than Vincent Tan to attempt it.Not impossible I admit, just highly improbable.

I'd like us to win the FA cup,not for the money, though it'll help, but because this year could be the last chance for Hull City A.F.C to make it onto any trophy.

well when Cardiff go down, I am sure Tan man will want a new PL toy.

CTWD Meeting – Monday 20th January

Present: F.Beill, C.Cooper, A.Dalton, K.Ellis, M.Gothard, J.Greenwood, M.Gretton, C.Jackson, R.Harmer, P.Mills, L.Motherby, R.Skelton, I.Waterson

Remotely connected: A.Beill, I.Berriman, M.Scott

Action: A.Beill and F.Beill to follow up with all trusts who could not be contacted.

Is the A. Beill mentioned Andy who I recall had a long administration connection with the Hull City Mad forum up to a couple of years ago?

I didn't think there were 100 people on the planet who thought this was a good idea and would vote yes in any ballot. But 377 members of the OSC voted yes. I am staggered by this. Only 555 NO votes out of a potential 1477. I don't think this helps CTWD and I am equally convinced this does not represent the feelings of the overall support. I have struggled to find anyone who thinks the name change is a good idea.

Are Allam's threats working?

I think you are looking at this from the wrong angle. Only 377 members supported Assem Allam, despite him lending the club nearly 100 million pounds and signing 14 million pounds worth of new strikers and threatening to walk out. I would say if anyone doesn't look good out of the vote it is AA.

It does look poor, but who will care? The FA will make their decision based purely on what serves theirs and the PL needs; supporters needs will be secondary, although they will try to make it appear otherwise.

The Premier League are against the change, it's a pity it's not solely their decision(though they are relieved it's not).

Bearing in mind some of Mr Allam's toe-curling statements what do forum people imagine he might say on hearing the FA have said no to Hull Tigers?

I was at Wilberforth House today doing a bit of touristing around this lovely city, when I saw this photo with an odd caption...

Hm, I don't know how to make that bigger or rotate it, but if you can see, it's a photo of the team from.. I'm guessing 06? Labelled as Hull Tigers.
