Richards - to join Pantilimon, Rodwell, AJ. Plus O'Shea and Brown from the other side of Manchester.

Are we limiting the mileage that we pay to our scouting team?

Typo re Boyata. Cheers Northern. Was being facetious maybe purely by the amount of Man C players we are getting linked with.

AJ and Rodwell are decent cast offs to get, far better than what we've had from United or Spurs!

No end product and couldn't last longer than an hour. Technically probably the most gifted I've seen at Sunderland but utterly ineffective for me and overrated as a result.

AJ goes missing but has a hand in or scores goals, a lot. Even off form. I'd prefer that myself.

Richards and Wes fit would be a brilliant pairing, complimenting each other perfectly.

    £5million, not even a gamble.

Don't see Gus dropping JOS though, seeing as he's our captain.

Any CB brought in won't be viewed as starters imo, just players to play when Wes and John get a bit tired

I disagree, I think Gus sticks with JOS as there's nobody else ready to step in, his chronic lack of pace and the fact that the ball can go anywhere off his head makes him a liability.

He's a good captain, but then Catts could take the band, maybe Rodwell. No way is Gus blind to the failings of the CB pairing together. Brown is better than JOS in every imaginable way, a pacey CB would compliment Browns reading of the game.

Just loved watching Steed more. AJ is just as capable of taking the ball though a crowd like. Just something about Steed that had me under a spell. Love steed :emoticon-0115-inlov

My worry is the competition, surely there'll be at least a half dozen meet that asking price. He could have the his pick of clubs.

That could be true, and thinking about it we wouldn't have actively pursued Williams as we did without the view of him starting.

Not sure we're in for another cb in any case, with Vergini, Roberge, Brown and O'Shea. Think priority would be a FB and some wingers

Decent career at safc and your almost guaranteed a final payday in the states at a club that wins! Its monumental!

I wouldnt expect the likes of baz to see the bigger picture mind, far too positive for the ginger bully

Would be a great signing, a strong right back with pace and strength who can cover CB. Get him Gus.

Sign Borini and Wickham and were sorted.
