In common with many Leicester supporters I liked Matty Fryatt - lovely lad, decent, honest, good first touch .... but lacking that bit of pace and poise in front of goal that is necessary in today's Prem .... he may develop the latter in time but not the former.. yes he is doing well this season ... but how many are pens?

Beckford is different ... an arrogant, moody, git ....who you probaly would dislike with an intensity in any other walk of life ... but he does have the potential to be a Prem player - he's quick, aggressive and has that hint of natural poacher - doesn't panic when in on goal .... we just haven't seen the best of him yet (as a player). Now don't misunderstand me - Aguerro or Suarez he is not.

Nugent is a decent honest pro with the build of a Centre Forward but not the whole hearted commitment of one - hence he quite often drifts into other positions where the pressure to deliver is not so immediate - i.e work rate and enthusiasm can be traded for outright goalscoring ability.

In Jeffrey Schlupp we have an outstanding prospect who I'd love to see get more of a look-in ... but doubt he will this season

We have a good squad and I expect us to be right up there come the end of the season now that we have a more disciplined approach - and can also strengthen the team in January if the manager feels it will be right to do so.

This is a good post but FFS where has this penalty thing come from? I've just answered it once, he's scored one penalty for us this season, and we've had a grand total of three penalties in 2011. I'd bet if you looked it up we have had less penalties than almost every anyone in the last few seasons, especially if you compared to the likes of Burnley who get that many every time they play us.

    It definitely wasn't that.

Mills chose a bad time to give Bamba a kick up the arse about his poor performance didn't he.

I think we should still take credit from the way we defended for the rest of the 2nd half and I don't think you can take that away from us or ignore the work that we did in those minutes. Admittedly, it was academic in the end but we can still take heart from the resilience we showed.

It certainly seemed that Nigel gave them instructions to close down Koren becasue for 43 minutes we did a good job on him and (I think it was Andy King mainly) kept touch tight trying to deny him space. You also have to factor in the amount of running and chasing and harrying we did in the 2nd half so our players would have been tired at the end and so there might have been just a small lapse in concentration which allowed Koren to get the shot away. You probably should take credit for that because you passed the ball well and moved it around to keep us chasing and tiring us out which, for me, was a factor in you scoring the late goal.

Also, Koren did well and took it first time so there was no time to close it down. But I think it's harsh to say both that our players are too **** to follow instructions because for 88 minutes they followed those instructions well and that our manager was too **** to think of those instructions because he is the one who came up with our game plan which did stop him for 88 minutes and he can't legislate for the one bit of ball watching that allowed Koren the space to shoot. I would say that it's simply a defensive mistake that all teams make and you're defence and every other defence will have moments where they make mistakes but I feel that, on the whole, we defended very well in that game and I don't think you can overlook that.

I think a bit of Korens intelligence showed in that goal too, it's hard for me to judge where the players are from the other side of the pitch but it looked to me like he was sat at the edge of your box most the 2nd half. For the goal he dropped back quite a bit giving himself space and free from a marker making him able to run onto the ball and smash in that beauty!!

Like I said to all my mates if you were going to lose, better to go down to an unstoppable goal like that than some poor defending and a scrappy goal.

You certainly did defend valiantly most of the 2nd half, unfortunately that appeared to be your demise as you invited the pressure on to yourselves and it was only a matter of time before the inevitable happened. Better luck next time <ok>

<ok> I'd agree. For all the ability you can have, you can't put a value on a good football brain.

I thought Leicester were solid as **** in the 2nd half. Really organised and a big all round effort.

I didn't think the goal was going to come, but Robbie Koren is frankly class. A few times this season now he's stood up to be counted when we've struggled to blow the door down.

He should never be shoved out to the wing again, he just isn't the same.

Every person who watched the FLS could see that it was not a dive. Just in case you couldn't, the the replay made you see it was not a dive. The commentator said 'there's definitely contact'. Even most of your own fans probably agree it could easily have been given.

But no, Proud Fox, everyone's wrong. The replay is also wrong, and you are right.

And I thought moderators were the honest & fair ones...

Just been reading through this thread and I can see some danger signs for your mental stability.

I can see where this is going and your delusion is going to turn you paranoid.

What I suggest is you take your PRIDE and your FOX and flush them both down the bog. Wash your hands well and go out have a couple of beers and a really good curry.

Come home, watch a bit of telly, and then have good nights sleep.

You will be ok in the morning, promise.

Liam Rosenior isn't getting enough credit for the winning goal. Hos pass into the space ahead of Koren was magnificent.
