That is very true about Koren you would have thought NP would have told them that he is very good at popping them in from 20 yards so close him down. It's not like he has'nt seen him do it quite a few times.
Exactly. Even with ten men I'd have put someone on Koren man to man for that last five minutes. If anyone was going to score a belter from outside the box in the dying minutes there was only one contender. People called NB naive against Burnley, well step forward Judas Pearson. **** management. End of.
I was going to post this on the Leicester board but I'm not a silly **** of a wind up merchant like some who go posting on other boards to get a rise.
Nugent is class at this level, if well over-paid. Beckford reminds me too much of Caleb Folan and isnt class at any level - and well well over-paid! Waghorn will soon be playing instead of Beckford
we need to give Leicester and Koren some credit here. For 43 minutes they closed him down well limiting to one real attempt. This was almost at the expense of giving Stewart, Rosenior and Dawson free reign. Then Koren found space to get one in! Credit to both parties
We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. In my illustrious playing days I once had the task of man marking this old boy who used to be semi pro. His legs had gone but he could still play. 89 minutes and I'd stick to him like glue. He'd hardly done anything worth while with the ball.Last minute he gives me the slip and bangs in the winner. Did I get any credit for 89 minutes worth of good work? Did I balls, got slagged off by all my team mates and the manager called me useless. There is no way on this planet Koren should have been allowed all that room on the edge of the box in the last minute of the game. He's got to be one of the best, if not the best, in the division at that type of goal. Edge of the box , dying minutes he should have been marked. IMO of course. No credit to Leicester, undone by the obvious makes them naive in my book.
its quite an impressive stat that Fryatt has over the last 12 months , especially considering the low number of goals City have been able to create over that period , As for the tackle on saturday , i know ur on a wind up , but for the benefit of those reading that might not know that , Your defenders leg went across Fryatts foot and tripped him up - a definite free kick in any area of the pitch but as it was in the Pen' there was far lesser chance of getting the right result from the ref , who had already given one.
Bamba never touched Fryatt. I went and it happened right in front of me and Fryatt dived I have seen it on tele and it just proved me right
Don't know how you can say that, you see the big blue long thing that sticks out with the big black thing on the end, that pushes into Fryatt and pushes him off balance? Yes that's called Bambas arm. If you still can't see that, sod specsavers, go to the hospital and get yourself booked in for an eye transplant, your eyes are beyond repair. Never touched him
I thought at the time it was just good defending by Bamba and after seeing it on telly, i still think it was just that. Bamba wanted it more.
How many penalties has Fryatt scored though? Lambert McCormack CMS Beckford Emnes Kenny Miller Kevin Phillips All better strikers than him
I couldve sworn I was just asking a question not trying to support an argument? I listed players who (in my opinion) are better than fryatt
