I dont watch international football but a quick search shows that since 2009 hes played 32 times for Spain.

Silva has played 77 times since 2006.

I guess Silva is Spains number 1, but they clearly rotate, or fit him in quite often.

They're both quality and there is no doubting you've bagged yourself a great player. A bit late though to salvage your season imo. More players are clearly needed - we'll see <ok>

Good signing, TBF. Mata will help turn your annus horribilus around. Title is beyond you, for sure, but top four is certainly possible.

If Lewis Carroll was to comment on this season would he say 'curiouser and curiouser'? Can't wait to see how this will turn out. <ok>

They'll have been given first option, doesn't necessarily mean we have to sell or he has to leave.

It looks like he will, which I just find so bizarre. The choices seem to be to break all of United's goal scoring records over the next four or so years and become a genuine bona fide legend of the club having also won everything there is to win.

Or join Chelsea.

Can't get my head round it at all.

I can't understand it either, he won't win anything with Chelsea that he hasn't already won. I could see him going abroad to test himself there, but I'm not sure he could handle the culture shock of moving to Spain, France, or Germany. If he really wants to prove himself he'll play well for England, but that probably won't happen.

Matth the reason everyone is reporting it is because it's true!!

Medical tomorrow and he's yours.
