I dont watch international football but a quick search shows that since 2009 hes played 32 times for Spain.
Silva has played 77 times since 2006.
I guess Silva is Spains number 1, but they clearly rotate, or fit him in quite often.

I can't believe we've got him, jesus christ, i'm in shock.
They'll have been given first option, doesn't necessarily mean we have to sell or he has to leave.
It looks like he will, which I just find so bizarre. The choices seem to be to break all of United's goal scoring records over the next four or so years and become a genuine bona fide legend of the club having also won everything there is to win.
Or join Chelsea.
Can't get my head round it at all.
I can't believe we've got him, jesus christ, i'm in shock.
The question is is he good enough to drag you up?
Or are you bad enough to drag him down?
Juan Mata has just phoned Jose Mourinho and asked if his place on the bench is still available

.Fergie apparently told Mata not to worry, a new manager is taking over soon.
Phil Neville...?
