Just spoke to me dad on the phone, he's been back in hospital a while unfortunately.
Just made me laugh though.
Said he saw one of the dr's today and the doctor remarked
" It's nice to hear a North east accent down here, where are you from"?
Dad said he's from South Shields and the doctor said he's from Prudhoe.
Dad replies, "I'm a Newcastle supporter but me son's Sunderland".
And the doctor replies.
"Well tell your son he's a good lad as I'm Sunderland too, and your the problem".
Just made me laugh though.

Ouch can relate done my ribs in sneezing is horrible and was weeks ago I broke them.
I've done them a few times and couldn't breath.
He's got emphysema, COPD and TB,
punctured his lung this time and got pneumonia.
Last year he had covid and pneumonia then a head on car crash,
Oh and a massive hernia op before all that.
Every time he comes out of hospital he either wants to go straight the pub or me get him lockdown cans ffs

He didn't break his ribs in the crash, chipped his spine though.
Broke his ribs tripping on his oxygen line ffs.
Didn't ring me for a few days.
Said it was because i was on nights but more he knew I'd get him in hospital lol.
Would of been a gonner if not.
