I could get a better tune out of that squad, as poor as it is. What are they doing in training all week? Today was a disjointed rabble with no guile, skill or passion.

Jones will eventually be booted out at great cost. Another prime example of reward for abject failure. It's sickening really.
The top 6 budget stuff I reckon is b*******, and probably takes into account budgeting for still paying multiple carrhorses no longer on the books.

He mentioned Poole in an interview recently, possibly lives there as an aside. Perhaps he wanted to be neighbours with Redknapp!

He lives on the South Coaxt, where he’s bought a family home. He’s made for life. I think many fans saw the real side of him when he answered the Cardiff manager question …”I’d like to manage them one day” etc. Curbs wouldn’t have answered in such a way. It lacked a bit of class.

Of course, he'd have lived whilst with Southampton.

There was a telling moment in Jones’ post match interview with Louis Mendez.

Louis asked him if he was concerned about only one league win in nine. Jones shot back..

“it’s two wins in ten, isn’t it?”

That sums Jones up. A Hyper prickly nitpicker …I can’t imagine players enjoy playing for him.

I see Wolves have fired their Gaffer and are going for a flavour-of-the-month Portuguese replacement.

Could it work for Charlton? What is Jorge Costa doing at the moment?
Come on you Cayman Billionaires, get your wonga out....

I’ve been told today via the Jungle Drums that there definitely isn’t any money to sack him.

He’d have to walk.

Short-sighted.

How will the owners react when Charlton drop into the bottom four?
How will they feel seeing Jones getting more abuse with every passing game.
The Valley emptying out, fans turning on the useless players, their useless manager, and our useless board.

SE7 have to own their failure.
Jones must go, or it's the 4th Division for CAFC.
ST sales falling to pitiful numbers.
And a much higher likelihood of administration & points deduction.
Is that what they want?

<laugh>
That shows a bit of desperation with his comment. It must be a welsh thing to be always on the attack<whistle>

I watched Nathan Jones’ post match interview, and in the space of only 5 mins he referenced the criticism he has had from the fanbase three times, including claiming he had been “vilified” and that “some criticism is fair and some is not fair”. His first answer was not about the win or performance, but deflected by Jones onto perceived fan’s criticism.

Whether he’s an unlikeable little bloke is neither here nor there really, but he’s never going to win the fanbase over regardless of results with touchy behaviour like this.

When you are earning a sizeable six figure salary yet are badly managing a team that is flatlining in L1, you are going to get criticism. He needs to man up a bit, but won’t.

As one Charlton fan perceptively put it after yesterday’s win, you now get the impression Jones can’t wait to give our fanbase two fingers.

You can imagine Little Ivor having a row with supporters if we get a tonking.

He's taken the team backwards after our worst season in 98 years.
What does he expect, congratulations?

Football supporters nowadays are all the same, have a s*** 10 games and sack a manager.
By no means do I think we have sorted things out, but people will be embarrassed if they saw the posts after our defeat against Crawley.

Seven consecutive wins for Johnnie Jackson at Wimbledon, after they won again last night. The Dons are in the promotion positions.

Well Done JJ- not just a true Charlton man, but a very likeable bloke as well.
