It's a pity those results aren't fake. They're real.
Nathan Jones has failed as Charlton Athletic manager.
It's time for him to go.
His saving of the Club from a relegation battle at the end of last season was dead cat bounce.
A temporary revival brought about purely because his approach was different from the man who was sacked.
And the achievement (such as it was) was accomplished with better players than we have now.
Again, the first six weeks of this season was a brief spurt of form based on nothing but novelty and empty hopes.
A few injuries and the bubble burst.
Jones has achieved nothing this season.
He has been found out.
Look at the teams who are currently in the top 8.
We are nowhere near them for organisation, motivation, team spirit.
Even though we have apparently wasted more money than some of them have spent more wisely.
We're a million miles off the pace.
Our chance of closing the gap to them in the second half of the season is a laughable zero.
Nathan Jones, do us all a real favour and f*ck off.
What I am concerned about is giving Jones another transfer window. Is he going to bring in more crap on long contracts?
I think they will stick with him for the foreseeable future.
For all the s*** Jones is getting, quite rightly on many occasions, once he knew there was no more dough he went with players he knew, I can understand that.It won’t be an issue in January, as there’s no money.

You mean “old players he knew”For all the s*** Jones is getting, quite rightly on many occasions, once he knew there was no more dough he went with players he knew, I can understand that.
Imagine there being truth in that then l could respect him for coming right out and saying it.For all the s*** Jones is getting, quite rightly on many occasions, once he knew there was no more dough he went with players he knew, I can understand that.
More than one needs to go on Monday morning, but I take your point.Unless we find ourselves in a relegation battle, our season is utterly attenuated - a pointless series of humdrim affairs played out in front of diminishing, disinterested crowds.
Today was rank, stale and turgid. That is all down to one man. He must go.
I could get a better tune out of that squad, as poor as it is. What are they doing in training all week? Today was a disjointed rabble with no guile, skill or passion.More than one needs to go on Monday morning, but I take your point.

Jones will eventually be booted out at great cost. Another prime example of reward for abject failure. It's sickening really.
He mentioned Poole in an interview recently, possibly lives there as an aside. Perhaps he wanted to be neighbours with Redknapp!Jones is already a millionaire thanks to his abject failures at Southampton & Stoke. Paid up in both cases, after failing in the job. The same will happen with us. He won’t get such a hefty amount, but it will still be a tidy sum. I don’t think another club above L1 level will touch him after this - his next move will be Tescos-level wages at Gillingham or Bromley.
