That annoyed me also - he’s done it before - drops in that he’s worked at a higher level to try and provide himself with increased gravitas, that the players are too lower level for him and or to suggest he’s doing us a favour.

It’s being reported elsewhere that it’s going to cost around £1.5m to pay him off. When you add in a new manager & his staff, you can see why Methven must have spent the day at Sketchleys.
