Go for it Tash. I served from 98 till 2006.
Travelled all over the world, Canada , Falklands, Germany, Cyprus, Iraq, Bavaria, Poland.

I admit it's not for everyone but you will never know untill you try it.
 
Bit harsh that like. Mate of mine went through basic with me, transferred to Army Air Corps from Infantry, has now flown Apaches for 10 years, he's coming out in about 4 months after doing his full 21 years and has several companies already banging on his door offering him work. Also know a guy who was in Royal Ordinance Corps now is building manager of the Gherkin in London. Just need to do the right courses etc

Fair play to them, that's good going. But, I would suggest that this isn't typical. Especially for people who have seen action.

Getting through to the Air Corps is quite good already, these chaps are probably not fair comparisons for Tash. (No offence Tash)
