I presume much of it was removed, but he's been rightly banned for it at least once. A quick glance at this threads reference to 'the Muslims' isn't exactly the model of religious tolerance...

Religious tolerance has nothing to do with racism. Tash is just a right wing teenager who doesn't have any real information beyond hearsay to back up his beliefs, many of us may have been there in youth for a while and grown out of it with a little educating. Generalising and misinterpreting the laws of a religion and talking about 'needing to fight to defend ourselves' is just foolishess due to ill education - not racism.

And to be fair to him, there is a large swathe of British opinion which equates Muslim with militant/extremist/terrorist. I have read worse things in headlines written by professional editors than I have read from Tash.

I agree, that was an aside. The banning was for outright racist language, and I'm sure a mod could point you in the right direction.

35 posts and you want to tell us what to discuss? Tash made one comment that could be construed as racist best part of a year ago, was banned, had the facts of life explained to him and has improve his posts no end since then so not sure where you get off calling him that.
There are plenty of others who discuss stuff other than football on this forum but some folks find it easier to single him out as a target. Mainly because he can be naive at times but this kind of abuse is uncalled for. He may be a tonk at times but he's our twonk so why not **** off and pull the wings off flies or something if you want start. <ok>

Being right-wing has nothing to do with views on race at all. I agree about him being a bit foolhardy though and he really needs to think before he speaks. Ironically the people he speaks of that we ''need to defend ourselves'' against have the same views as him. Albeit the opposite way round.

Great idea, it'll do Tash the world of good.

And as I've been warned by Syd not to talk to you I'll say no more.

Thats fair enough mate.. everyone is entitled to their opinion and you make a valid one, having served myself i know it isnt all about taking people lives. Thats the extreme of what can be expected of you.. the army do a hell of a lot of peace keeping and just general humaniterian acts around the world.. but like i said fair and valid point, no one really wants to take a life or obviously have theirs taken.
