Girlzilla has the answer to the Worlds biggest problem.

She could just sit on Tash's face and smother him.

  3. Ok, look. I'm sorry if i've offended some people, or given people the wrong idea of what i believe.

I don't just ignorantly follow the government like a sheep. I do question the government, and i do look into the conspiracy theories and arguments.

Also, i never said all Muslims were bad or even most of them. From when i started this topic, i'm merely saying that there'll always be people that think they are justified in killing people for their religion, it's happened all across history.

I'm not saying for sure that if we didn't have an army, we'd get taken over, but i'd rather not take that chance.

I've said some stupid things out of ignorance, like in the Quran it states... ect. I meant to say that some people have it in their minds that it's right to kill and terrorize for their religion.

I'm considering joining the army and wanted some experienced opinions. I didn't want it to go off topic like this, but some people started trying to convince me not to join, like making me out that i'll just be a murderer for the government.

You are such an relentless mong. and here is yet another example of your bigotry, according to you...

Sol Cambell is a black bastard

    Titus Bramble is an ape

And now this view of the Muslim religion that would a useful way to provide an example of the word 'ignorant'.

p.s. Honestly - I think the army wouldn't accept you; most of the time the army is providing policing actions which requires intelligence, knowledge and judgement.

And most of the recent wars have been about oil and ethnic intolerence.

Well done. Like many Sunderland fans at the weekend, you've sat down and eaten some humble pie. Your twat-factor has dropped....A bit.

Go join, you'll either get through basic training and it'll work for you or fail it and be dumped out.

  10. And i've said some things i don't actually believe, but in times like this i've got several people arguing at me at once, and i need to rush comments because i get some people saying that i've ignored what i've said but that's not the case. I'm trying to debate several people at once and it's not easy lol <ok>

I think joining the army is an excellent thing to do...
Just out of interest though, what qualifications do you have? You should also have a browse around on the internet and see what you can do with them.

    You might be surprised!

  13. I'm not a bigot. I called Titus Bramble an Ape because he's big and clumsy, nothing to do with his skin colour. And i removed the Sol Campbell comment soon after and apologized for it. I was angry and i regret it. This was ages ago and i don't see why you had to bring it up.

Can we just drop this now?

    Dropped...

and reposting because I think it was lot in the bloodbath prior...

I am in the American military and have found it to be a rewarding career if you enter for the right reason. I can't speak to the requirements for entry into the army on your side of the pond, but do think that you need to do it with the clear understanding that it is a massive commitment that isn't easily broken. Joining just because you are bored or thinking that it will be like Black Ops will create problems for you. I would advise that you consider the reason you want to join, speak to a recruiter, and do some research on-line about life in the military. I remember reading about you applying for a medical job...you might look into the medical career field in the military if that is what interests you.

    HMT

The army fitness test is a piece of piss mate, do not worry yourself over that. You basically run 1.5 miles in 10 minutes and you're in. It never gets much harder than that.

You will be deployed at the earliest opportunity but will not be fighting, you'll get a rubbish job sitting around like a muppet all day long, whilst the Marines/Paras etc get the nasty jobs.

The Quran is interpreted differently by a few divisions within the Muslim faith, Sunni, Shi'ites and maybe more, I'm not entirely sure. The ones who cause the problems are the EXTREMISTS, those who essentially interpret their faith in the wrong way for modern society. This doesn't just apply to Muslims though, each religion and faith has an Extremist following, each responsible for the mass scepticism of each religion from non believers. Shari'a law is very commonly misinterpreted in the Muslim faith, you see things such as stonings and rape being ignored in Shari'a governed states such as much of Algeria, for instants. It's not even documented due to media censorship in that country.

I'm fully with you though HMT that the risk is not worth taking on disarmament but I would like to see more invested in Defence and less invested in Strike command.

Good luck whatever you choose to do. I've given 5 years of my life to serving my country and believe I owe this country nothing now, but it owes me.

  16. Cheers. I'm not saying i'm definitely going to join, i just wasn't some opinions from ex-soldiers or those currently serving.

    <ok>

This is why i was asking because i don't know too much about it so i want some knowledge about it.

It is the most rewarding thing I have ever done (outside of my family, of course). 28 years in and have to retire in a couple and wouldn't change a thing. It's taken me around the world and provided a decent living for me and my family. It has helped pay for my education and will set me up well for my second career.

And, it allowed me to see my first Newcastle game! Hooked for life.

If you had any real intention of joining the army, by which i guess you mean a paratrooper? You would've gone to an army carers website not not606.com.

You wouldn't get through selection as you probably aren't strong enough, nor fit enough. You would probably also fail all the personality tests they put in place to catch out bigots who are there for one reason only. Knuckle down, stop blaming the country for your problems, get a job and work hard. Like everyone else.

Edit: should probably change my avatar...

For what it's worth I think Tash would make a good parapooper.

You'd have been better off joining years back Tash, you've left it too late, you'd have been brilliant in the hunt for Bin Laden.

Reporter: Sergeant Tash, are you any closer to locating the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden?
Tash: He's gone to Greggs for pasty - fat ****.
